Scott enrolled at Madonna University as a criminal justice major. He participated in two professional internships. Two years later, his dream of becoming a police officer was realized when he was hired by the Michigan State Police. As an alumnus, he continues to support and mentor students.

Victor Lauria is an Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department. He joined the full time faculty of Madonna University in 2015. Prior to joining Madonna, he served as an Assistant Chief of Police with the City of Novi. During his 28-year law enforcement career, Victor served in a wide variety of positions. He worked as a patrol officer, undercover narcotics officer, a K-9 handler, and detective, as well as numerous supervisory positions. His work has been recognized by the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association, National Retail Federation and the Michigan Association of Private Investigators. The National Geographic Channel profiled one of Victor's cases in the documentary film "The Science of Interrogation."
His favorite subjects to teach are interview and interrogation, and ethics.
In his free time, Victor enjoys spending time with his wife, Sherie, and their three children as well as hunting and fishing.

Robert is an assistant professor in the Criminal Justice Department. He began teaching at Madonna in 2004 as an adjunct instructor in the Criminal Justice Department before joining as a full-time faculty member in 2019.
Robert has 35 years of experience working for the Michigan Department of Corrections in community corrections and at several state correctional/mental health facilities. He has worked as a corrections officer, parole officer, and probation officer for the 38th Circuit Court. Robert has served in a supervisory capacity in the Michigan Department of Corrections and Community Health, as an Assistant Resident Unit Supervisor, Captain, Deputy Director of Safety and Security and retiring as a Parole/Probation Manager.

Jon Haupt is an adjunct Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department. He joined Madonna University in 2015 and teaches a variety of Criminal Justice courses. Jon is a retired Lieutenant from the Farmington Hills Police Department, where he served for 27 years. During his 27-year law enforcement career, Jon served in a variety of positions. He worked as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, fire investigator, detective sergeant, and administrative lieutenant, as well as several other supervisory roles. Jon has 15 years of investigative experience focused on domestic violence, sexual assault, and child abuse. He is dedicated to raising awareness on social issues such as domestic and sexual violence and serves on several multi-disciplinary committees, task forces, and councils focused on this important issue, earning him numerous honors and recognitions.
Jon is currently the Assistant Director of Operations for Washtenaw Community College’s Public Service Training where he is responsible for the effective expansion, promotion, and coordination of law enforcement in-service training at the college and throughout the Southeastern Michigan region.

Michael Kennedy is an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Department. He joined the adjunct faculty staff of Madonna University in 2016. Prior to joining Madonna, Michael also served as an adjunct professor at Henry Ford College. Currently, Michael serves as a Police Lieutenant with the Canton Police Department and has 20 years of service. During his 20-year career, Michael has served in a wide variety of positions including field training officer, undercover narcotics officer, evidence technician, TEAM officer, as well as various union leadership positions.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their two children as well as golfing and vacationing.

Tabia Tabb is an Assistant Professor in the Criminal Justice Department. She joined the faculty of Madonna University in 2018. Prior to joining Madonna, she served as a police officer with the City of Detroit.
As an officer with the Detroit Police Department for twenty years, she was also assigned to the Office of the Chief Investigator, Major Crimes, the Organized Crime Bureau, the Ninth and the Tenth Precinct. While in these units she worked many assignments, including the Warrant Enforcement Bureau, Missing and Exploited Children, as well as Extraditions. In February 2019 until her retirement, she was assigned to the Detroit Detention Center, where she assisted in the initial intake and booking process of offenders.
During her career she has received numerous awards including: one Chief’s Merit Award, Super Bowl Award, Rosa Parks Funeral Award, All Star Game award and the International Fireworks Award. On December 12, 2008 she was awarded a Meritorious Team Achievement award by former Wayne County Executive Robert Ficano. She has received several certifications including: International Institute for Restorative Practices, Blue Courage Instructor, Instructor Development ‘Train the Trainer”, and Public Safety Wellness.

Michael Warren is an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Department. He joined the part-time faculty of Madonna University in 2019. Prior to joining Madonna, he served as an Sergeant with the City of Novi Police Department. During his 24-year law enforcement career, Michael served in a wide variety of positions. He worked as a patrol officer, detective, DEA Task Force Officer, Sergeant, and Training and Standards Sergeant. His work has been recognized by the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association and the Director of the Drug Enforcement . One of his cases was profiled on Gangsters: America's Most Evil.
In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and his four children as well as reading and shooting.
